Mesmo que não conheça de nome, você já dançou ao som de Modest Mouse em alguma night por aí... night indie, é caro. Formada em 1993, na cidade de Issaquah, em Washington, nos Estados Unidos, a banda só teve reconhecimento mundial mesmo a partir de 2000, quando foi contratada pela gravadora Epic Records. O nome Modest Mouse é inspirado no livro "The Mark On the Wall", de Virginia Woolf, no qual a autora descreve a classe média operária inglesa como "modest, mouse-coloured people." Outra banda que descobri faz poucas semanas foi Camera Obscura. Pois é, e a banda escocesa existe desde 1996!!!!!!!!!! Bom, mas antes tarde do que nunca, não é mesmo!
